NTR’s acting and Trivikram’s writing are the big assets for the film. NTR did terrific acting in the role of Raghava Reddy. He handled the role with maturity and delivered right kind of emotions. Throughout the film, NTR carried the same intensity and emotion in his appearance as he loses his father at the beginning of the story. Maybe NTR’s real-life incidents helped him to carry a few emotions. Pooja Hegde did a decent performance in her role. Eesha Rebba is also okay in her role. Jagapathi Babu is menacing and so fierce in his role. He did an extraordinary performance in the negative role. Sunil after a long time did the good supportive role but not a comedy. Naveen Chandra delivered terrific performance with negative shades. Remaining actors Naga Babu, Naresh, Srinivasa Reddy, and others did decent performances.
Production values of the film are extraordinary and provided the best. Cinematography by PS Vinod is good and he has given few best visuals for the film. Music by Thaman is one of the highlights of the film. The album was super hit even before the release and coming to the background scores he did a terrific job. Editing is good but could have been crisper. The art department has done a fantastic job creating realistic faction environment. Fights composed by Ram-Laxman were too good especially the introduction one which gives goosebumps. Coming to the direction Trivikram did a terrific job with his pen giving beautiful dialogues with depth.
- NTR’s performance
- Lack of comedy
- bit slow in places
- bit preachy
On a whole Aravinda Sametha is another faction backdrop film in Trivikram style showcasing in the different point of view. NTr’ Performance and Trivikram’s writing are main plus points in the film. The first 30 minutes of the film is terrific and NTR did a superb job. Later first half completes on a decent note. In the second half, the film becomes a complete emotional drive with depth and meaning. Dialogues in the film are so meaningful with depth which leaves us blank for few minutes to understand. As a director, Trivikram sticked to his plot not deviating from the subject with unnecessary entertaining elements But in some places movie becomes slow with the narration. The climax of the film is good with a good conclusion. Overall, Aravinda Sametha is a watchable emotional entertainer. The film may appeal to the mass audience much. For Trivikram’s writing and NTR’s performance, one can watch the film this festival season.
Bottom Line: Watch it for NTR and Trivikram’s work.
