Nannu Dochukunduvate Review

Karthik (SudheerBabu) is a cool guy who works for a corporate company as a manager. He wants everything to be perfect in his life and wants to get settled in the US. Meanwhile, his father finds a match and want to get him married. To escape from that Karthik comes up with an idea saying he is in love with a girl and introduces Meghana(Nabha Natesh) as his girlfriend. Days are passed and slowly Karthik starts falling for her, the same happens with Meghana but both of them never expresses their feelings out. What happens next? Did they express their feelings? What happened in the end? Forms the rest story.

Sudheer Babu is perfect in the role of Karthik and he did his best. Especially in the emotional scenes, he improved a lot in acting wise. This is a different kind of role for him and did his best emote the scenes. Nabha Natesh is super cool and bubbly in her role. Performance wise and looks wise she is decent in her role. Nassar as Sudheer Babu’s father did as a usual good job and the confrontation scenes are good. Tulasi as heroines mother did a decent job and senior actor Prudhvi is also okay in his role. Actors like Viva Harsha, Sudharshan and other did okay job in their roles.

Technical Aspects:

The production values of the film are good and Sudheer Babu did his best in bankrolling the film. The camera work of the film done by Suresh Ragutu is good looks decent on screen. The music of the film is okay, especially the background music is good and helped to elevate the scenes. The dialogues in the film are good. Editing of the film is decent and everything is in right place. Coming to the direction RS Naidu did a decent job executing the story.

  • Performances
  • First half
  • Dialogues
  • Camerawork

  • Predictable story
  • bit slow second half
  • Hurried climax

Final Verdict:

On a whole Nannu Dochukunduvate is a decent romantic comedy film which runs at a moderate pace. The performances in the film are decent and every one did their best. The first half of the film runs at a good pace with comedy. But coming to the second half the film becomes bit slow and predictable. Director RS Naidu did a fine job in narrating the simple romantic comedy script in a subtle way with comedy and emotion. The only thing looks minus is things could have been crisper with more speed in the narration. Overall, the film is a decent Rom Com entertainer and one can give a try this weekend with zero expectations.

Bottom Line: Watchable Romantic comedy
